The Japanese architecture studio Yasushi Horibe recently completed an impressive hotel located on the inland sea of ??Seto of Japan. Inspired by traditional Japanese architecture and luxurious wooden interiors, the floating hotel “Guntu” aims to create the perfect environment for guests to enjoy the serenity of their surroundings. The boutique ship has 19 individual rooms, a panoramic lounge with open views of the inland sea, a restaurant on board, a cocktail and sushi bar, gym, sauna, spa, relaxation areas and an impressive rooftop terrace.
Guests can choose from four different types of on-board cabins, including the Guntu suites, the Grand Suite and the Terrace Suite. Each suite is located near sea level to offer sea views. Each suite also comes with its own double bedroom, private outdoor terrace with living room, mini bar, full bathroom with shower and outdoor bathtub. At the top of the range, the Guntu suite offers 90 square meters of luxurious space and is the largest cabin on the ship. The suite promises a quiet environment from which to enjoy a moment of rest and panoramic views in the direction of the trip. The mid-range Grand Suites of 80 square meters offer the largest balcony, while guests of the 50-square-meter Terrace Suites have the option of including an outdoor bathroom.
