The Shangaan Tribe emerged from attempts by the Zulu to conquer the Tsonga people of the Kruger Park region of South Africa.

Soshangana, the warrior sent by King Shaka of the Zulus, decided to join rather than conquer these people and he taught them the way of the Zulus as well as giving his name to these people.

Today, they dance with the same intensity they used to bring to battle. It puts a new spin on the experience of a BRAAI (barbecue) in the bush. It’s also Ulusaba’s X factor!
